Beautiful White Puppy Tied A Pole Waits Days For Someone To Come Rescue Him
It is terrible to see a dog alone on the street. But it is even worse when the dog is tied to a pole.
This happened to a young white Husky in Santa Monica, Calif.
He was constantly tied up and also faced the brutality of homeless people who harassed him every day.
But the brave dog remained courageous. Hoping that one day a kind person would save him.
A rescue mission
One day a kind rescuer saw this white Huskey named Buckley and knew she had to help.
She couldn't believe the 6-month-old husky puppy had to suffer on the streets for so long, tied to a pole.
She took him to Love Leo Rescue, where experienced rescuers took care of him.
Sasha Abelson, executive director of Love Leo Rescue, said, "Buckley is an exceptional dog. He didn't let his beautiful personality be changed by his past experiences."
They made sure he was showered with lots of love so that all his wounds would heal as quickly as possible.
He answered with his incredible positive energy that put a smile on the faces of all the staff and volunteers.
A new home
Soon Buckley found a foster home with a woman named Angela.
Angela's heart broke when she heard Buckley's story, and she decided to become his foster mother.
The two bonded immediately, and Buckley quickly adjusted to his new life with his foster family.
"Buckley is a typical, happy husky," Abelson said. "He enjoys playing with his canine friends and learning new skills. He loves walks and cuddles with his humans. He's just a perfect family dog."
In addition, Buckley did something good for his foster mother.
"Buckley is such an amazing dog! He is our foster dog who has helped me in my recovery with PTSD. He needs activity and routine.... and that turned out to be exactly what I need too," Angela wrote in an Instagram post.
Yet this beautiful canine soul is still waiting for a forever home.
"Buckley would love to go to an active home and preferably one with another playful, balanced dog," Abelson said. "We think a canine sibling would be great for him."
This dog is so beautiful inside and out, we expect he won't have to wait long for his new home.
