Blind Puppy Nearly Euthanized Because His Owner Wanted It
It does happen quite often that dogs are born with some sort of disability. When this happens, it is up to the owners to help the puppy and the mother cope with this as best they can.
Unfortunately, many owners can't afford to pay for the necessary medications for disabled dogs, or they just don't want to do it.
In this story, we are going to talk about a little puppy who was almost euthanized because his owner wanted him to be.
A difficult start in life
When Bing Bong first opened his eyes to the world, he couldn't see anything at all. His blindness made life extra challenging for him.
But what made it even more difficult was that his own mother did not understand his special needs.
She didn't know how to take care of a puppy who was different, so she attacked him, thinking she was helping.
Bing Bong's owner was very concerned and thought it might be best to let him go.
But luckily there was a sympathetic veterinarian who said, "No, we're not giving up on him."
The veterinarian's plan
The veterinarian knew Bing Bong needed extra help. He decided to take Bing Bong back to his own home and find a loving family to care for him. He did not want to see this brave pup suffer.
Bing Bong's new mom
The veterinarian continued his plan and called Kim. She was asked if she could take care of Bing Bong, and without hesitation she said, "Yes!"
Kim became Bing Bong's new mother and promised to give him all the love and care he needed. She was his guide in a world he could not see.
Bing Bong's new life
As a small puppy, Bing Bong needed a lot of care and attention.
Kim and her family made sure he got everything he needed to grow into a happy and healthy dog.
Although he could not see, Bing Bong began to grow up into a beautiful and playful dog.
He became friends with other dogs in his new home and was full of joy, despite his challenges.
Kim used her voice to guide him and together they braved the world.
Bing Bong's ball
Bing Bong had a special green ball that he loved. When it rained, he would play with it for hours.
He rarely let go of his favorite toy and didn't like sharing it with anyone else.
The ball became a symbol of his happiness and determination.
Naps and cuddles
Another thing that brought joy into Bing Bong's life was cuddling up in a soft blanket and taking long naps with his buddies.
He was the happiest puppy in the world, and it was clear that he had found a loving family who would do anything to make him feel happy and content.
It is really wonderful when faith in humanity is restored by people like Kim and the vet who refused to just give up on the poor puppy.
Thanks to them, he can now enjoy the finer things in life and have many fun adventures.
