Orphan elephant had no friend, but then a dog climbed on her head 1b

Bubbles, a sweet elephant, had a difficult start in life.

She was rescued in Africa after her parents fell victim to heartless poachers.

These poachers, in search of ivory, killed many elephants. Bubbles, however, was among the lucky ones who survived this tragedy.

Bella, was a puppy abandoned by a contractor hired to build a pool for Bubbles.

Little did they know that this unexpected encounter would lead to a special bond.

Growing up together

As Bubbles grew from a tiny 150-kg calf to a beautiful 4-ton, 6-foot-4 adult, her love of swimming also blossomed.

The pool, initially built for Bubbles, became the stage for their unique friendship.

The pool and river not only provided fun, but also gave them space for their playful water adventures.

Playful moments

Bubbles and Bella became inseparable. They could often be seen playing in the water, creating heartwarming scenes.

Bubbles used her trunk to throw a ball into the water, while Bella, always enthusiastic, jumped off Bubbles' back to retrieve the ball.

Today, their playful interactions are almost legendary and steal the hearts of all who witness them.

A beautiful friendship

These two unlikely friends teach us that love knows no boundaries, even between an elephant and a Labrador.

The heartwarming friendship of Bubbles and Bella brings smiles and warm hearts and reminds us that sometimes the most beautiful friendships come from the most unexpected moments.
