Wiley de Dalmatiër Draagt Zijn Hart op Zijn Neus 1

The Dalmatian breed is undoubtedly one of the most distinctive dog breeds in the world, known for their black and white spotted coat, making them easily recognizable and known worldwide.

When Lexi Smith, a young woman from Denver, decided to bring a dog into her life in 2018, little did she know that a puppy could dramatically change her world. But it indeed did.

In March 2018, a little spotted puppy came into her life. Immediately she noticed something special about this puppy, something that added to his already overwhelming charm.

This Dalmatian puppy had a heart-shaped spot in the middle of his cute little nose, which really made him a picture.

Wiley's mother, Lexi, told People magazine that the heart-shaped spot on Wiley's nose was not the determining factor when she chose him. She explained: "I had decided to adopt a puppy from this litter before they had spots. I had the first choice from the litter and I chose him mainly because of his personality."

The spot became visible when Wiley was about six weeks old. At first they weren't sure if it would stay on because he was so young, but luckily the heart-shaped spot stayed permanently on his fur.

When Lexi first posted Wiley's photo, he became instantly famous.

"Everyone notices the heart," Smith told the Dodo. "You can't take him anywhere without people gathering around him, but he enjoys all the attention. He's adorable and he knows it!"

Wiley not only has a big heart-shaped spot on his nose, but he also has a big heart. He is very friendly, cuddly and loves meeting new people.

As Lexi describes, he is social, quick to greet everyone and starts playing with you right away.

On their website hiwiley.com, Lexi writes, "He goes by his heart in everything he does - both literally and figuratively. He leads with love, and if you ask me, this world could use a little more action where the heart comes first.

Wiley is such a sweet boy, without a mean bone in his body.

Nevertheless, he still retains some of those familiar Dalmatian traits. "He's a cocky little cutie full of swagger that constantly makes me laugh," he said.

Even when he was a little puppy, he would "react disapprovingly and growl when you told him 'no,' but not very often because he is so cute and usually gets his way."

Really, who can resist those cute eyes and that adorable muzzle?

"With love so big it spills out of his face and joy so big it makes his whole body wobble, Wiley taught me so much about what life and what life should be like."

For Lexi, this cute little dog turned her life upside down.

A dog's life may be short, but Lexi's mission is to make Wiley's life as rich and happy as possible.

With a camera in her hand and speckled four paws at her side, these two are constantly going on the adventure of a lifetime.

"From mountain peaks to movie nights, beach days and brewery visits, road trips and even difficult moments, everything has been a little brighter and much more complete with this wild speckled creature by my side."

You can follow their amazing adventures on Instagram, where Wiley's profile has more than 242,000 followers.

Although Lexi thought she would never get a second dog, life had other plans for Wiley and her. Recently, another dog named Makalu came into their lives, and now all three are enjoying new adventures together.

Lexi says, "We just keep enjoying life and hopefully bringing more smiles to people's faces."

Until the whole world knows love.
