Pit Bull Tied To Bench Hoping His Family Will Come Get Him Soon

A beautiful dog named Gordough was very sad after his owners tied him to a park bench.

The sad dog hoped his owners would come and get him.

Helpers at the Austin Humane Society in Texas were shocked to see a sad pit bull tied to a bench.

The poor dog was clearly sick and in dire need of care.

Although he was in pain, the dog got excited and his tail started wagging the moment he saw them walking toward him.

Rescuers untied Gordough and took him to a shelter.

Love and care

At the shelter, Gordough met new friends who cared for him.

They prayed to him and hugged him, making him feel safe and loved.

The dog captured the hearts of the shelter staff when they met him.

Gordough's story spread on social media and soon the nonprofit organization 15/10 Foundation offered to help.

They paid for Gordough's medical treatment, giving him a chance for a better life.

A forever home

After some time, Gordough found a foster home that loved him.

They had actually planned to care for him only temporarily, but they soon realized that Gordough belonged to them forever.

Now Gordough lives happily with his new family.

He plays with toys, takes naps and is often cuddled.

He knows he is cherished and adored.
