One day, two sweet people heard about a lonely puppy found on a hill.

Although these dog lovers were miles away from that location, they rushed to help.

When they arrived, they saw a sad white puppy under a tree with tears in his eyes.

His story was just beginning, but they knew they could help heal his broken heart.

A heartwarming rescue

When they arrived at the hill, they found the puppy hiding under an old tree.

The puppy was trembling and looked very sad. They could see tears in his eyes. It was heartbreaking.

The puppy was hungry and weak, pieces of fur were missing and he had small wounds on his back and eyes.

They offered him a small sausage and when he tasted it, he quickly ate it.

Although he still had a sad expression, there was a glimmer of hope in his eyes. It seemed as if he wanted to say "thank you."

They realized they had to help him quickly, so they sprang into action immediately.

In the beginning, however, it was not easy at all because this poor dog did not yet trust them and was still trembling with fear.

But because he was so exhausted, he couldn't walk very far, so they easily managed to put him in a crate where they let him rest.

They also put a bowl of food there so he could eat and get the energy he needed.

While he was in a crate, they used a little bug spray to get rid of the ants on his coat.

It also had the added benefit of cleaning his wounds.

In a short time, this puppy looked much better and his energy began to return a bit.

He was also more cheerful and ran laps around their legs, which was a sign that they were beginning to gain his trust.

But when they tried to take him in their arms to go with them, he still fearfully ran from them.

That afternoon, they decided to stay with him for a while more, hoping to persuade him, but unfortunately they did not succeed.

Since it was already starting to get dark, they decided to leave him in the crate with some food and water and pick him up the next morning.

A long journey home

The next day they went back to where the puppy was.

There he waited for them and he welcomed them with a big smile.

Eventually they managed to gain his trust and soon he was in the arms of one of his rescuers.

Along with the crate, they loaded it into the car and could finally begin the long journey home.

Because the town where they lived was quite far away, they had to make a stop along the way.

They rented a small room where they could sleep. The puppy was happy to rest after five hours in the car.

The puppy was hungry again, so they prepared some dog food for him.

Fortunately, they still had plenty of food with them, and the puppy was more than happy to satisfy his hunger.

After dinner, the rescuers turned their shirts into pillows for the puppy to sleep on.

The puppy had a good night's sleep and was fully rested for the second part of the trip that began the next morning.

The next day they began a journey that took as many as seven hours. Despite the arduous drive, it was all worth it because he was finally home.

Arrival

Finally, they arrived home. They gave the puppy a warm bed and good food.

Although he was happy with everything these good people gave him, he loved his new, warm bed the most.

That was actually understandable, since he had never slept in such a comfortable place until then.

Transformation and joy

By the day, the puppy grew stronger and happier. He was constantly running and jumping around the house.

His rescuers especially encouraged him to go outside to the balcony so he could sit in the sun. The sunlight helped his skin heal completely.

Combined with daily baths and skin care, this completely transformed this beautiful dog .

After only a few months, the puppy's wounds had healed and his fur had grown back.

After all he had been through, he was finally surrounded by so much love and attention.

Now a grown boy, this dog finally has a joyful life, whereas just a few months ago he was alone and crying.
