Rottweiler adopts stray puppy and makes his life happy 1

It's bad enough to dump a puppy somewhere alone, but to do so in sub-zero temperatures is even worse.

When a local shelter received a tip about an abandoned puppy, staff rushed to the scene to rescue the puppy from the cold.

Fortunately, the puppy made friends with more than just the shelter staff.

The rescue

Following a tip, two rescuers rushed to rescue the shivering puppy.

Their mission: find the abandoned puppy before it was too late.

Despite their efforts, they could not find the puppy.

Despair struck as the two women searched anxiously.

Finally, they discovered the cold and lonely puppy in a quiet corner.

It was a race against time to help this little puppy.

To the vet

The next crucial step was taking the puppy to a veterinary clinic.

Clinic staff found the little one with a very low body temperature, emaciated and weakened.

Given the severity of the situation, an IV was inserted to replenish the lost fluids.

The puppy also received much-needed nutrition to gain weight.

"Archie" emerges

The puppy was named Archie and his recovery began.

In the capable hands of the clinic staff, Archie was on his way to a brighter future.

The plan was to move him to a foster home as soon as he was strong enough again.

A new home, a new friendship

After overcoming his health problems, Archie found a new home.

With a hearty appetite and regained strength, Archie's days got better.

But the heartwarming twist came when he formed a special bond with the family's Rottweiler, Remy.

Remy, the family's big Rottweiler, adopted Archie.

Remy became Archie's protector and friend, offering warmth, love and companionship.

Dogs are social creatures and can easily adopt other animals, especially hatchlings that give off certain pheromones.

In Archie's case, Remy saw him as her own puppy.
