Stray Puppy Overwhelmed By Emotions When Reunited With Lost Mother

When the lovely ladies at Love Furry Friends Rescue heard about a little puppy living along a busy road, they didn't hesitate to rescue her.
The puppy named Lucy had been living near a busy road for a long time and could only just stay alive.
She was very scared and did not trust people at all.
As soon as someone tried to approach her, she ran as far away as she could.
Therefore, no one took her off the streets or even tried to help her.
But what the rescuers did not realize was that Lucy had a mother and they were living together on the streets.
Rescue and transformation
Lucy was rescued and given the care she needed - medical care, a bath, food and toys.
Slowly, this frightened puppy turned into a sweetheart ready to share her love with the world.
However, when the rescue organization posted about Lucy on their social media, they were surprised to find out that Lucy still had a mother, somewhere on the street.
People who fed the two dogs occasionally sent them a photo of the two of them when Lucy was still living on the streets.
Rozy was found
The rescuers returned to the spot where they had rescued Lucy, hoping to find her mother as well.
"She often wanders the streets looking for food for herself and for Lucy. That's why we didn't see her when we were there for Lucy," Love Furry Friends Animal Rescue said.
When they arrived at the location, the mother was there....
She ran toward them as soon as they called her.
She must have been very hungry, because she ate the food they gave her right away.
Rozy's health did need attention.
A visit to the veterinarian revealed that she had heartworm in her heart and pulmonary artery.
The brave mother, who was 8-10 years old, immediately began her treatment.
Heartwarming reunion
Lucy had no idea she would see her mother. She lay sad in her cot when Olena entered the room with her mother in her arms.
The best moment came when Lucy saw her mother Rozy.
Her tail wagged uncontrollably and she couldn't hide her joy. She jumped around and hugged her mother.
Rozy was still a little tense in her new surroundings, but Lucy just wouldn't leave her side.
Although they both had their own beds, they decided to share one.
Lucy was finally a happy puppy again.
Since then, they did everything together and never parted for a second.
"We are glad we were able to change the lives of these wonderful dogs," the rescue organization said.
I hope both dogs will be adopted together into a wonderful family.
